Mr. Cox,

Regarding your [Sports Section] column of April 12, 2002: "...the Trib hires nobody who doesn't think and march in lockstep"? The Tribune hired me more than 20 years ago, I still work there, and I have never thought or marched in lockstep to anything having to do with the paper or Tribune Co. Nor, as far as I recall, have 99.9 percent of the people I have known here. You owe us a public apology, as well as an explanation.
