Chef Paul Fehribach serves a Southern coastal five-course tasting menu tonight highlighting "lost foods," products from Slow Food's Ark of Taste--a list of endangered edible species and vanishing heirloom recipes. Fehribach will talk to diners throughout the meal about what they're eating; the dinner starts with Sea Island red pea cappuccino, house bacon froth, puffed Carolina gold rice, and pickled ramps, and goes from there. The price covers food, non-alcoholic beverages, and a donation to Slow Food Chicago. Booze can be purchased separately. RSVP required.
