Videos by Vanessa Renwick of Portland, Oregon, several of them endearingly odd artifacts. In The Yodeling Lesson (1998) a local zine writer bicycles uphill with no hands and then coasts downhill in the nude. In Crowdog (1998), Renwick describes in voice-over how she stopped wearing shoes while she lived in Chicago, carrying tweezers and a safety pin to pull glass shards out of her feet. Richart (2001), codirected by Dawn Smallman, documents outsider artist Richard Tracy, who requires total silence of the students in his workshops. He conducts a tour of his art-filled house and yard, and though his collages are amazing, they appear only in fragments, and the conventional pan with voice-over seems inappropriate to such an eccentric figure. Completing the program, which will run about two hours, are a video by Bryan Boyce and a two-projector film/audio installation by Bill Daniel.
