Made in Texas

I would like to thank Jonathan Rosenbaum for recommending Jim Jarmusch's collection of favorite short films [Critic's Choice, March 5], but I would like to clarify one error. Rosenbaum writes that the program was originally compiled for the Movieside Film Festival last December. However, this same package of short films (with Samuel Beckett's Film, starring Buster Keaton, taking the place of Jarmusch's own short feature, Int. Trailer. Night.), was actually compiled for the CinemaTexas short film festival in Austin in 2000. Sorry to nitpick, but I was in the audience for Jarmusch's appearance at CinemaTexas, and I wanted to give Austin its due.
