Mass Mind Rape

Life as a corporate drone can be excellent fodder for comedy, and playwright Christopher Tutor has obviously been influenced by other satires of the mind-numbing pettiness of office politics. However, Tutor's two-hour play is tedious, and Heidi Peterson's cast in this C'est La Vie Drama production is generally unskilled. Tony Bozzuto and Trey Chambers both have their moments as the Mann Industries employees most likely to rise up and flee their cubicles. But with the exception of a few funny if unoriginal fantasy sequences, Mass Mind Rape drags on as slowly as a day of drudgery at the office. Through 8/27: Thu-Sat 8 PM. Strawdog Theatre Company, 3829 N. Broadway, 888-539-4580. $10-$15; industry nights Thu.
