Meat Moguls and Poultry Profiteers

An elucidating article chronicled the sojourn of a city couple evolving into visionary agricultural paragons specializing in organic farming [June 30]. Their ingenuity and benevolent ecological ideology transformed them into nature stewards recognizing the importance of intricate biodiversity featuring soil, insects, animals, fertilizer, and healthy crops. The edifying humanitarian tale suddenly descended into the abyss of degradation when the former vegetarian sympathizers admitted to selling lambs and chickens, therewith joining the inglorious ranks of meat moguls and poultry profiteers butchering beasts to assuage carnivores and earth's destroyers. A diet of Jack Daniels and chips is more peaceful than organically cultivated "livestock" served irreverently on a platter.
