Chef Guy Meikle creates Mother's Day brunch specials such as Orange and Agave Honey Cinnamon Rolls with yellow raisins and acai berries; Fresh Seedling Farms Blueberry Beignets with Capriole Farm goat cheese and peppercress; and Laughing Bird Shrimp and Morel Mushroom Crepes with fava beans, roasted spring onions and spicy shrimp cream. Signature choices from the regular menu include Baked Chilaquiles, a layered casserole of tortillas, shredded Monterey Jack cheese and roasted poblano cream sauce with two eggs any-style; and the Nanadict, a pupusa topped with crumbled chorizo, poached eggs and poblano sauce. Limited reservations accepted on May 9.
