Cultural Affairs and the Chicago Music Commission present another Musicians at Work Forum, Licensing Your Music for Commercial Use, about “the essentials to know” if you want your tunes used in TV shows, commercials, movies, and video games. Moderated by the CMC’s Paul Natkin, the panel includes ASCAP midwest membership director Shawn Murphy, Midway Games audio director Rich Carle, Victory Records publicist Shelby Hoffman, and Kate McCombs, a creative director of commercial music licensing for the Warner Music Group. There’s a half-hour networking session prior to the discussion.
