Don't miss our critics' reviews of all the bands playing Saturday.

PM: Don't get me wrong, I like the Psychic Paramount, but as a metal fan and a Chicagoan, the Atlas Moth is where I belong at the start of the day.

45 PM: Cloud Nothings are pretty vigorous for indie rock, and maybe the "feelings of emotion" vocals won't bug me so much live.

45 PM: I'm not sure I should bother with Liturgy minus drummer Greg Fox, but I'm perversely curious to see how "transcendental black metal" works with a laptop for a rhythm section.

15 PM: Flying Lotus has always seemed like headphones music to me, but a ginormous sound system is often the next best thing.

15 PM: Wild Flag. Sorry, Schoolboy Q. I've seen these ladies once already, and they can kick your ass up and down the block.

15 PM: Maybe Sleigh Bells will play some stuff from the first record. If not, I can always go grab something to eat.

30 PM: If I can get close enough to the stage for Danny Brown's charisma to have an effect, this ought to be fun.

30 PM: I'm sure I'll get another chance to see Grimes. Godspeed You! Black Emperor, not so much.

Next: Tal Rosenberg on Psychic Paramount and Danny Brown.
