New Year's Eve at Big Jones

Big Jones will resuscitate the Gullah custom of sea island red peas, offering red pea "cappuccino" with puffed rice and bacon froth as the first course. Other items in the five-course prix fixe ($55) are a choice of gumbo, turtle soup, or salad; New York strip or low-country bouillabaisse; and bourbon-chocolate beignets or red velvet cake. The regular menu will also be available.
