Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad New Review (Theater and Comedy) The Short List (Theater) Recommended Closing (Theater and Galleries) Opening (Theater and Galleries)

When: Fridays, Saturdays. Continues through Sept. 5 2009

"Schticking it to the man since 2003," as they say, the veteran stage and TV performers in this variety show hosted by Susannah Perlman wear many hats--and outrageous costumes--doing stand-up, musical numbers, spoken-word performance, and burlesque accompanied by a klezmer rock band. The focus is on laying bare the experience of growing up Jewish--expect a Yiddish tutorial--but anyone familiar with Catholic or Muslim guilt can relate. And their high-energy, let's-embarrass-ourselves showmanship suits any audience looking for a lowbrow good time. --Ryan Hubbard
