Nogoodnicks | Performing Arts Review | Chicago Reader

This comic duo is made up of Tim Baltz, who has a lazy sensuality, and Seth Weitberg, who's commanding and energetic. Together they weave a smart, long improv out of three narratives with overlapping themes. Individually the stories are funny, pointing out the humor in fairly ordinary situations, but juxtaposed with one another, with intercut dialogue, they're even funnier. The show also has a surprising intimacy, and by the end of the one I attended, the performers had given each story poignancy without losing their comic edge. Fatty Four Eyes begins the bill and is included in the ticket price. Open run: Thu 10:30 PM. I.O., 3541 N. Clark, 773-880-0199. $5.
