North Coast Music Festival: David Guetta, Wiz Khalifa, Midnight Conspiracy, Bandit, Lotus, and others Agenda Early Warnings (Music) Recommended Soundboard

When: Fri., Sept. 2, 3:30 p.m. 2011

For the past few years Wiz Khalifa has had a bit of an identity problem, cycling through a series of personas previously broken in by a dozen or so other rappers in search of the one that would connect him with an audience outside the insular rap-geek world. Now, in the wake of this year's breakthrough Rolling Papers (Atlantic) and its anthemic "Black and Yellow," it seems like everyone else wants to be a little like Wiz; "Black and Yellow" has been covered by everyone from Lil Wayne to celebrity-scion jock rapper Chet Haze. —Miles Raymer 9 PM, Red Bull Grove Stage.
