To the editors:
Until I read Mike McGrath's ideological temper tantrum masquerading as a review of Ronald Reagan's autobiography [January 18], I'd forgotten that the Reader is: a) the official newsletter of the Loony Left, and b) the only publication in the United States staffed entirely by zombies.
Is "Mike McGrath" by any chance a pseudonym for Lyndon LaRouche? I only ask because McGrath's tirade at its loopiest bore an uncanny resemblance to some of LaRouche's more entertaining fantasies, such as the one about Queen Elizabeth being a drug dealer with a contract out on him.
Somebody ought to rouse Mike Van Winkle from his catatonic trance and break it to him gently that not only are the '60s over; they were over before they began.
