Adrienne Kennedy's 1992 play (part of her "Alexander" play cycle) follows a a woman writer who attended Ohio State in the 1950s (as Kennedy did), who is invited back to her alma mater to speak about violent imagery in her work. Her monologue reveals the dark history of racism, segregation, misogynoir, and murder underneath the surface of her personal history and that of the institution. It's presented as part of the Goodman's Live series of real-time streaming performances, following Adam Rapp's The Sound Inside in May and followed by Ike Holter's I Hate It Here in July (see separate listings). Tiffany Nichole Greene makes her Goodman directorial debut with Kennedy's play.

Price: $30; $60 for all three shows in Live series (see website for details)
