On Rush

To the editors:

In my opinion Paul Pekin erred slightly in the otherwise accurate story on WLS radio [December 21]. It seems to me that Rush Lymphnode rarely rails against feminists; he prefers to denounce "feminazis" instead. I don't know where his vision of terrifying femininity comes from. Perhaps he watches low-rent porno flicks.

The same Mr. Lymphnode frequently announces (with emphasis) that he is on loan from God. Maybe we should take him more seriously. He could turn out to be as significant as his stylistic predecessor on AM talk radio: Morton Downey Jr.

Michael Glass

S. Hyde Park

Paul Pekin replies:

Morton Downey Jr? Watch it Michael! Let's not go below the belt.
