To the editors:
Your "Skinheads" article [March 24] was a revelation. It was absorbing, riveting, sad, scary and didn't compromise its integrity with a "happy ending."
It was everything that wretchedly-done Rolling Stone profile (on skinheads) was not. Rolling Stone's article was leadenly-written, boring, skimpy, and about as stimulating as watching blades of grass grow.
