Paws | Chicago Reader

Local director Bill Glader (Inside “Streetwise”) and son Max created this 1997 comedy short, to be screened along with its three sequels, Paws 2: The Hairy Witch Project, Pretty Paws, and The Making of “Paws 4 Ever”—the last described by J.R. Jones as “A rock-stale Hollywood parody mixing elements of All About Eve and Sunset Boulevard with jokes about dogs eating cat feces and drinking out of toilets. I found it cloying, but if little Max is going to be shooting something of his father's, better a camera than a gun.”
