November 3, 10:17 AM, 100 block of North Morgan. Theft. Victim observed 39-year-old male offender enter parked tractor trailer, break open crate, and remove cheese. Victim closed trailer door, locking offender inside until police arrived.

November 4, 5:30 AM, 3500 block of North Broadway. Theft. Jewel security guard observed 35-year-old male offender stow 14 sticks of Secret deodorant in plastic bag and attempt to leave. Offender was apprehended.

November 4, 6:55 PM, 7500 block of West 62nd Place. Aggravated assault, theft, damage to public property. 44-year-old victim observed two teenage male offenders removing city Speed Hump sign. Victim approached offender, whereupon 15-year-old brandished ten-inch crescent wrench. Officers arrived, placing offenders under arrest. Subsequently 15-year-old offender's 55-year-old father arrived and became loud and verbally abusive toward witnesses; father was also arrested.

November 7, between 1:30 AM and 8:30 AM, 1200 block of West Victoria. Theft. Victim reported car window smashed and two magician's suits, a pair of handcuffs, and a magic wand missing.

November 18, between 5:43 AM and 6:35 AM, 1500 block of East Hyde Park Boulevard. Aggravated assault of a protected employee. Hospital technician was attaching 47-year-old male offender to dialysis machine when he drew a three-inch pocketknife. "Get away from me," said offender. "You bring me bad luck." Offender then turned pocketknife over to witness. Police arrived but were advised by doctor not to arrest offender until treatment was complete. Two officers remained with offender for three hours, then took him into custody when he was detached from machine.
