Italian street scenes decorate the exposed brick walls of this Roscoe Village trattoria, and chef Tina Maggi's reasonably priced menu covers a lot of ground. Starters alone include beef carpaccio, buffalo mozzarella caprese with arugula pesto, a salad of tomato, cucumber, and onion over dried crostini, and a baby spinach salad with Gorgonzola and pear. Theres also pizza (the thin crust was a disappointment) and a good variety of pastas from basic puttanesca (garlic, anchovies, olives, and capers) to agnolotti del mare -- a large stuffed pasta made of alternating stripes of squid ink and egg pasta filled with sea bass and shrimp in a lobster sauce. Veal, chicken, and beef are other options, as are fish specials like a grilled fillet of salmon with braised endive and sun-dried tomatoes in a light garlic sauce.
