Kevin Larkin's Pineross is an ever changing musical exploration. The Michigan native recorded his debut in a cabin outside of Boulder, Colorado in 2005, playing the majority of the instruments himself. It is a meditation on the dying American West, a fusion of Spaghetti-Westerns, bluegrass, Irish melodies, and classic country - funneled through his hypnotic, often delusional lyrics. Now he is on the road playing a couple dozen dates across the country with a stripped down version Pineross - perched upon a rigged up Samsonite suitcase, playing guitars, mandolins, tambourines, and harmonicas.
