Post-it Note Reading Series Recommended Agenda

When: Sat., Oct. 29, 3 p.m. 2011

When decorating an office cubicle, Post-it Notes are crucial. Arthur Jones took creativity with Post-its to the next level when he began swiping them from his work's supply closet and drawing illustrations on them to accompany stories he was writing in Microsoft Excel documents. The Post-it Note Reading Series was soon born, with authors reciting stories against a backdrop of projected Post-its. That morphed into the book Post-it Note Diaries, featuring writers such as Chuck Klosterman, John Hodgman, and Kristen Schaal. Tonight, the series visits Chicago for the Post-it Note Reading Series: Chicago Horror Stories. Jones, Starlee Kine, and former Reader associate editor David Wilcox will share stories documenting their favorite horrible Chicago experiences. —Kevin Warwick
