To the editors:

I thoroughly enjoyed your article on the current drug law scene ["How to Win the War on Drugs," November 18]. It was an unbiased view which turned my friends on, some who are musicians and some who aren't. Objective views, pro and con, help your readers see the truth, which could set us free.

It would be interesting to see what your readers think of the present pot laws. Shall we decriminalize or continue our present law? Perhaps your paper could run a poll. It could be anonymous. The readers could send in their answers. Some day a nationwide poll could be taken. Who knows, the votes may surprise all of us!

I enjoyed the picture of our band, the Bob Vernae Jazz Ensemble, which appeared in the Reader, in your music section. Keep up the great work, your paper is great.
