Prairie Design Architecture Tour All Ages

When: 2009

The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust hosts this day-long excursion starting at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio in Oak Park (951 Chicago). Participants will check out the exteriors of Prairie-style houses in the Beverly neighborhood designed by Walter Burley Griffith before heading to Kankakee by bus for a private tour of Bradley House, Wright’s first Prairie design, which is privately owned and not generally open to the public. The current residents, who restored the house themselves, will lead the tour of the 6,000 square-foot house. Lunch and snacks are included.
