Since 2004 Plastic Crimewave (aka Steve Krakow) has used the Secret History of Chicago Music to shine a light on worthy artists with Chicago ties who've been forgotten, underrated, or never noticed in the first place.

  • Georgia White's 1936 Decca version of "Trouble in Mind"
  • The 1937 song "Alley Boogie" became the theme to the UK TV Love Soup in 2005.
  • Pretty sure y'all can figure out what the "it" is in that title.
