Prom Night in Mississippi

The classrooms have been integrated for years, but the high school in Charleston, Mississippi, has always had separate proms for black and white students. This 2008 documentary by Paul Saltzman follows students, teachers, and parents in the days leading up to the first racially integrated prom, which was fully funded by Charleston alum Morgan Freeman. 90 min.
