To the editors:
Rarely am I proud to admit that I am a lawyer. However, after reading about the attorneys who are helping AIDS victims [February 17], my faith in the profession is renewed.
Gene Bruno, Carole Cook, John Hammell, James Monroe Smith and others should be commended for assisting an ill and ostracized sector of our community. They are motivated not by greed, but by a sense of responsibility to a needy group of fellow humans. Thank you, counselors.
And thanks to the Reader for printing an important story.
