To the Editors:

While I certainly like to see Joe Klein of Newsweek taken to task for his continuous attacks on blacks, Bill Wyman left out a few facts that weaken his own argument [Hitsville, July 15]. I'm sure that Wyman knows that Chuck D of Public Enemy stated in one of his songs that Jews were the "so-called chosen" and that "they did me like Jesus." Since Wyman has claimed that rap is the most significant musical form since bebop, I guess he ignored this in order to further one of his many crusades. While Klein and his ilk deserve censure, let's not ignore those individuals who may not share his complexion but are just as racist.
