Thomas Gibbons's play about racial politics, A House With No Walls, "tackles one of the biggest elephants in the room of American culture," Reader critic Zac Thompson said of Timeline Theatre's current production. The company continues the tackling with this panel discussion featuring UIC history prof Eric Arnesen, DePaul poli-sci prof Valerie Johnson, Tribune columnist Dawn Turner Trice, and PhD candidate Melissa Barton, who's currently teaching a course at U of C on "Staging Race: African-Americans and Theater in the 20th Century. "Reservations are encouraged."
