Writer-director-producer Steven Burnette has lots of humorous ideas in this sketch comedy revue. Too many, in fact, for one 80-minute intermissionless show. Some intriguing premises--a school of cosmetology with a football team, a "food court" for litigious diners--have potential, but the scenes are cut short or swamped by a flood of irrelevant throwaway jokes: suggestive names, speech impediments, eccentric props. These loose ends might be tolerable in improv, where players often blurt out whatever occurs to them. But when scripted comedy doesn't have a through line or context, as in this Burnette Entertainment Group show, it's just silly--and silly isn't the same as funny. Through 10/15: Thu-Sat 8:30 PM. Raven Theatre, 6157 N. Clark, 773-338-2177. $10-$15.
