I was riding my bike on the sidewalk near Chicago and Ashland, where a group of Latino teenagers were standing in front of a store. Their backs were toward me, and I called out "Excuse me" as I rode up. After I passed, I heard them mocking me, saying, "'Excuse me, excuse me.' God--she's so white."
