To the editors:

I have to go back to make my point back to "Power Politics" (Reader 3/18/88) which told the story of the present Edison franchise.

You'd better believe two main papers in Chicago aren't enough. I'll bet many many people were picking up Readers that never had before! Your problem is that you don't stand tall enough in your own eyes.

What a lot of work researching for that article must have been! Men like Fremon deserve their day in the sun, Hold a yearly dinner to honor those writers for the Reader that have truly distinguished themselves. With tongue-in-cheek, not wanting to take yourselves too seriously, even a Reader Hall of Fame!

And make the dinner more fun than a barrel of monkeys!
