Rhubarb

Cat inherits a baseball team and players get angry. A feline interruption in the Talking Mule cycle that preoccupied light comedy specialist Arthur Lubin during the early 50s (Francis, Francis Joins the WACS, etc). Lubin later went on to direct Mr. Ed on the tube and Don Knotts under the sea (The Incredible Mr. Limpet), which is dumb animals enough for anyone's career. With Ray Milland, Jan Sterling, Gene Lockhart, and William Frawley; based on a popular novel by the tiresomely whimsical H. Allen Smith (1951).
