Right Into Our Trap . . .

It's 1 AM--do you know what Ellie Maybe is [Letters, July 15]? In her vicious rant against Liz Armstrong's coverage of the crusade against appropriation of street culture by corporate interests, Ellie Maybe makes precisely the mistake for which she wrongly lambastes Armstrong (i.e., inadvertently promoting the cause of an ostensible adversary). Ms. Maybe apparently fails to appreciate that Armstrong's column is designed to provoke hysterical responses from self-righteous jerks incapable of subtlety of thought or expression. "Dumb bitch" indeed.
