Rodrigo Lara: A Conversation About Repatriation Free Agenda Recommended

During the Great Depression, the U.S. government deported as many as two million citizens or legal residents of Mexican descent, in an event known as the Mexican Repatriation, explored by the Mexican sculptor Rodrigo Lara Zendeja in his show "Deportable Aliens." Tonight Lara offers a behind-the-scenes tour of the exhibit and discusses it with curator Dolores Mercado and Art Institute professor Daniel R. Quiles. RSVP required.
