Ruido Fest Member Picks All Ages Soundboard Recommended Image

When: July 10-12 2015

This weekend Addams/Medill Park in Pilsen becomes the site for the first-ever Ruido Fest, a massive Spanish-language rock and Latin alternative-music blowout put together by the folks at Riot Fest Presents, Rock Sin Anestesia, Metronome, and Star Events. The organizers claim that this is the first three-day, multistage festival in the country dedicated to this style of music, and the huge lineup boasts some pretty mighty names, including headliners Zoe on Friday, Molotov on Saturday, and Cafe Tacuba on Sunday. More than 50 Latin acts play the three stages, with other noteworthy sets coming from alt-rock band Enjambre, electronic weirdo Silverio, Chilean indie rockers Astro, LA Chicano rock outfit Chicano Batman, and the funky Ozomatli. —Luca Cimarusti
