Githa Sowerby's rarely produced 1912 play was written under the pseudonym K.G. Sowerby when it was first produced and won accolades comparing it to Henrik Ibsen. The revelation that the author was a woman may have accounted for its slide into obscurity. TimeLine's revival of this story of the owner of a glassworks company in the north of England desperate to pass on his work to his children (who are equally desperate to escape his grasp) is directed by Mechelle Moe and stars Steppenwolf ensemble member Francis Guinan.
