Saturday First Run Features - Summer Hours

Please join the Northbrook Public Library as we present, Summer Hours, a film by French director, Olivier Assayas. Helene (Edith Scob) has just turned 75 and is increasingly concerned about the particulars of leaving her estate behind when she dies. Unfortunately, the time comes when siblings, Adrienne (Juliette Binoche), Jeremie (Jeremie Renier), and Frederic (Charles Berling) must decide what to do with Helene's house and the artwork left behind by her famous uncle. This film is rated PG-13. A second screening will begin at 7:30 p.m. Independent filmmaker, Reid Schultz, will lead a film discussion following both the 2:00 and the 7:30 screenings.
