Hatched by writer Pat Proft and director David Zucker, with Leslie Nielsen as president of the United States and Charlie Sheen as a farmer menaced by flying saucers, this is more like Hot Shots 3 than a sequel to the two Wayans brothers comedies—but what the heck. Anna Faris returns as Cindy Campbell, now a TV news reporter investigating the crop circles in Sheen's cornfield and raising a son who sees into the future. Blink and you'll miss Darrell Hammond's bit as a priest who shows up to babysit the boy, slips out a bottle of whiskey, and seductively lights some candles. There's a riotous scene midway through in which a sobbing Anthony Anderson and Simon Rex try to revive Regina Hall's corpse during a wake, but otherwise this is pretty sorry stuff. PG-13, 90 min.
