Screening Thursday, July 20: Rhyme Spitters II (2005, 90 min.), a documentary about the freestyle rap battle held in Wicker Park last year (12:15 PM); The Truth Behind Nine Blocks (2005, 91 min.), a documentary about Phoenix, Illinois (2 PM); Holla if You Hear Me (90 min.), a “rap whodunit” (4 PM); and This Side of the River: Self-Determination and Survival in the Oldest Black Town in America (2005, 52 min.), a documentary about Princeville, North Carolina (6 PM). Screening Friday, July 21: The Spook Who Sat by the Door (1972, 101 min.), the classic blaxploitation film adapted by Sam Greenlee from his novel and directed by Ivan Dixon (2 PM).
