Bop Shop, 1807 W. Division: Herb Hargar, the offspring of Helen and Horace Hargar, was sitting on a stool doing his musical managing work in the clean lavender air. He was talking with Sabrina, a devotee of beatniks and an aspiring one herself in the 1950s as was Herb, though both were too young to have been beatniks without their parents so they had to wear their berets to seventh grade. Todd came in and told them he had a beret, too. But Sabrina said, "You birdbrain. You're even younger than us. What could you possibly know about beatniks?" She turned her shoulder to Todd, which made him feel horrible, and she let Herb hypnotize her. Herb said that his sister had a stack of Miles Davis records under her arm in 1957 and she married a chauffeur. Sabrina told Herb, "Go man go, arriba!" and she did some finger snaps. Herb replied, "I always say, art blows the most."

Two weeks hence: immersed in doubt at Great Lakes Hot Tubs
