Season Opener-Gabriel Prokofiev and Phillip Bush Member Picks

The Present Music Ensemble will perform with Gabriel Prokofiev, founder of the Nonclassical record label ( and the grandson of the great Sergei Prokofiev. Gabriel Prokofiev has gained wide attention in classical circles for his Concerto for Turntables and Orchestra which will be performed at the season opener. In addition, this will be Phillip Bush’s final concert with the group. He's retiring from Present Music after 15 seasons as its keyboardist/pianist and will perform the György Ligeti piano concerto for his farewell performance.
