Hello Peter,

I'm a big fan of your column and now your blog. I grew up reading your stuff in the Reader, and it certainly opened up my ears in a lot of ways. Thanks for the coverage around Pitchfork time [Pitchfork Music Festival pullout, July 13]. Just thought I'd mention the "mediocre white-boy singing" that you refer to in the Nomo tune--it is actually a black woman, Jamie Register, our bass player who sings the tune.
