Ask the postrock nerds, and they'll all tell you that it's crucial you experience Sigur Ros performing live before you die. And they're all right. The Icelandic band puts on a performance that's one part ambient orchestra, three parts hypnotic theater—which when combined make you feel, just for an instant, that transcending into a higher realm of being is actually plausible. It's not—you're still on earth and Dennis Rodman is still almost relevant—but it is one hell of a show. Experimental musician Daniel Lopatin (aka Oneohtrix Point Never) opens.
