To the editors:

In his defense of the Chicago Magazine article about racial conflict at Oak Park & River Forest High School [Hot Type, October 26], Michael Miner implies that with three times the space the story would have been more accurate. On the other hand, it might have been three times as inaccurate. The hell of it is, we'll never know.
