The ingredients: spiced white lentils, cinnamon, Carpano Antica vermouth, Ron Zacapa 23-year-aged rum, Bittermens Xocolatl Mole bitters

Crack an egg into the shaker.

Add an ounce of the spiced white lentils, seasoned with Demerara sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and coconut milk.

Add three quarters of an ounce of Carpano Antica vermouth.

Add two ounces of Ron Zacapa 23-year-aged rum (Cardenas used a bottle infused in-house with chocolate pu-erh tea).
