If ever a Saturday-morning concert could stir some enthusiasm in your average jaded grade-schooler, this sounds like it's the one: "Dance 'n' Drum Dee Dum" is a Kids Fare concert by Boomshaka, Northwestern University's percussion and dance ensemble. Boomshaka director Jade Smalls (who represented Illinois in last year's Miss America pageant) says the group will use homemade instruments and improvised percussive music to get the audience stomping. It starts at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 18, at Northwestern's Pick-Staiger Concert Hall, 1977 South Campus Drive in Evanston. Tickets are $4.50 for adults, $2 for students and children, $3.50 for seniors. Call 847-467-4000.
