Theatre 6 Radio dramas performed today often rely on nostalgic chuckles, but Strawdog's goal in this hour-long evening of three new plays by Hank Boland is to bring radio into the 21st century, streaming each performance live on its Web site. Part of a series that used to be called "Wireless," this show features seven actors, a six-piece band, and a Foley artist who hold our attention visually and aurally with vivid depictions of the plays' exotic settings and 25 characters. Love is a subject in all the stories: a western adventure recounted by the Glenwood Springs Kid, a cozy murder mystery starring a widowed mom/ace detective, and a sci-fi fable about a techno-age couple who learn to make beautiful music together. --Mary Shen Barnidge a Through 2/24: Fri-Sat 8 PM, Sun 7 PM, Wed 2/14, 7 PM, Strawdog Theatre Company, 3829 N. Broadway, 773-528-9696, $10-$15.
