San Antonio native Ike Sewell (also the founder of Pizzeria Uno) opened this venerable Mexican restaurant in 1963. The traditional menu has few surprises -- fajitas, combination platters, tacos -- but the location and stellar margaritas attract a loyal following. Pinatas hang from the ceilings, faux balconies surround the room, and colorful baskets of silk flowers are scattered about, creating a festive, inviting ambience.
