Suicide Kings

The premise of this neither dark nor funny movie—which wants to be both—is that it's somehow ironic when wealthy characters are motivated by greed. Christopher Walken plays a supposedly shrewd retired mafioso who's duped, then abducted by a group of young heirs. The schemers include a self-medicated medical student turned torturer (Jeremy Sisto), a nervous type who's mainly concerned that his buddies will get blood on his dad's expensive rugs (Johnny Galecki), an unabashed and unconvincing sociopath (Jay Mohr)—and the filmmakers. Peter O'Fallon directed a screenplay by Josh McKinney, Gina Goldman, and producer Wayne Rice, based on a short story by Don Stanford.
